The Institute’s annual awards recognize excellence in clinical photography, video production, multimedia, illustration, and graphics. The photography awards are comprised of both clinical and non-clinical submissions. Graphics submissions make up the majority of other work in the competition, with materials designed to communicate a wide range of information for both patients and medical professionals. The IMI competition features Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, as well as a ‘best in show’ Platinum award, chosen from the submitted entries. This annual competition gives recognition to excellence in medical and scientific illustration, clinical and surgical photography, public relations / marketing images, educational PowerPoints, brochures, and booklets.
